History-in-the-making

Well, at least a bit of history for me at least. This is my first attempt at a blog To be honest, I am not even sure if this is going to work, so apologies to the innocent bystanders.

Thanks so much to those who have already welcomed me to the blogosphere. I look forward to becoming an “insider” to this strange world. Debs (my wife) is a bit worried that she will never see me again. She is frowning at me as I write. Tell me I will be alright.

Actually, I am really looking forward to this. I will try and get the links pumping sometime soon.

Visit again sometime.

Hi Alan and Debs. I do declare that thou shalt be all right. Ummm … that carries a lotta weight and wait with it, eh? When I was recuperating in Austin, I found that I did get lost in doing blogs, checking blogs, cross-checking blogs, commenting on blogs, etc. It really can be annoying * addicting * exhilarating * ministering * engrossing * et cetering. If you have to get an hourglass with a bad-mad timerbuzzer and set it upon the computer stand, do so. But seriously, it could be that posting regularly will be important to the cause, and needs to be carved into your regular schedule. (This, from someone who hasn’t blogged in umm, five months or so. But then, appropriate stewardship for me right now is just to make it through the work week. Blog-posting shall likely resume when I’m in research/development mode again.)

Yes, you will be all right.

Blessings to you two in all you are doing! bRad

Welcome Al (and a belated happy b’day), I’m looking forward to reading your musings and your book at some stage. God Bless mate.
