hirschburger with the lot at fuller

I am teaching on The Forgotten Ways at Fuller Seminary twice this year. One for the School of Intercultural Studies (Grad & Th.M levels) from 16-20 July. Here is the course description for the  course.   The other gig is for the D.Min. at the School of Theology (with Kurt Fredrickson) 8-19 Oct.  Here is the one for the D.Min course. tm710cd.pdf . Fuller is great school, and it would be great to see some of you there! Come play!

Dearest Hirshey, would love to come…was pleased to read the course decriptions…may have to do it “independent study.” ;)

I’m still pouting that us lowly MA students won’t get to hear you teach/preach, eventhough we have seminars the SAME WEEK on the SAME CAMPUS. Sigh.

Hey Janelle, I just checked the course outline, and the June event is defintely open to all as an elective. Hope you are well.

Pegg, by now you could teach it yourself! :-)

Hey Alan, I wish I could swing it, but we’re in seminars 8-5pm that whole week for mandatory classes for the Global Leadership cohort. Thanks for checking, though! Blessings on your move.

Alan, he he he, you are so funny, mate! :)

But I would be proud to “sit at your feet” again and absorb a lot more and have water handy for you and watch the clock and tell you when your time is about up…and to always have cough drops handy. Come to think of it, you better make a note of that, yourself, ’cause you’re gonna need them with that teaching schedule! Yikes ;)

    Alan,

I’ll be at Fuller starting June 18 for a couple of weeks for Richard’s Peace’s D.Min. course on evangelism. We’ll have to get together, bro.

Sure thing James. It’ll be good to compare notes again. See you there.

    Big Al,
I’m hoping to take the July course as an elective for my MAGL program, not sure if I can swing it yet.

Jenelle, what cohort are you in? I’m in the 11th called Metanoia!

    Cheers,
    Charlie

    Good on you Alan,

I’m sure a “Hirschburger with the lot” would make one fuller! Nice of you to inject a little Aussie insider trading with the “Hirschburger with the Lot” pun! Perhaps one day I’ll get to Fuller, presently I continue on my journey with the Wollongong wanderers and the southern Sydney suburbanites…

Yeah, its a bit of insider Aussie sland. For you non-Aussies, it means a burger with everything on it (egg, cheese, onions, and other bad for you things)

  14. Jenelle on May 30th, 2007 9:45 am

    Hey Charlie!
I’m in Pangean 8…not far from finishing up! I’m jealous that you might be able to sneak into that class as an elective.

Make sure the Hirschburger tries the Rick’s Burrito’s down the street from Fuller. They’re closing up for all of eternity. Sad.

Yeah, I’ve tried Ricks and have to admit that I was dissapointed. But it was a great local third place. An icon really.

    Sneak on in.
