APEST v.2

Hi all, just a note to say that we have now gone to v.2 on the APEST test.  This is more balanced and comprehensive.  For those who have done the test it will also mean that you can login and download the more updated version.  I think that will work…at least that is what I am told.

At what point did the letter change by the way, you know, from P to S. I noticed it just sort of sneaked in there a while back but never heard an explanation. I can guess Alan but would be interested in hearing your thoughts.

Matty, simple really, you can’t have two letters the same in a profile instrument. :-)

I didn’t notice there was a difference. All the questions had asterisks next to the numbers and were pre-selected with what I guess was my previous answers. Seems like v.1 still. Unless I’m missing something.

I haven’t checked it, but I will. There are meant to be more details and descriptions around the primary two.

Oh yeah. I just compared my old and new. More than twice as much stuff in the descriptions. I was thinking there was a difference in the questions.

Totally more thorough results file. Very nice!

I did the test a while back, but can not find my log-in info. How can I get that, so that I can get the new test results?

Comments are welcome. I’d be interested to hear what others come up with too.

Oh Alan, just one minor point I’d make in terms of fine tuning the test. The system allocated me Primary 2: Prophetic and Secondary 1: Teaching even though I scored 18 on both. As a consequence I got more feedback on the prophetic and less on teaching when I would have preferred equal on both given the scores. Not sure if there is anything you can do but I thought I’d mention it.
