    How about this one…

“There are three types of people in the world today. Those that know how to count, and those that don’t.”

The mother of the wise must have better things to do than have children.

…well, perhaps the mother of the wise only has as many children as she can responsibly care for?

Alan…you’re treading on thin ice when you start talking about mothers, dude!

Perhaps it might be better (more correct?) to say that the wife of a fool is always pregnant?

That is not to say that families with many children are all fools, now….

Ahh Pegs, a tad touchy eh?

The father of fools had to be a enough of a fool to to make babies with the mother of fools. It takes two to tango. But then you’re a mom, you already know that.

It’s a metaphor, a really good one… you know saying that folly reproduces and grows in human society more and faster than wisdom. Which is completely true, unfortunately.

Al…sorry to be touchy! I am still all too aware of those women who still don’t have much reproductive choice. Hard to believe, I know, but it is still too true for too many of the sisters….

But I really love this one: may the mother of fools hit menopause EARLY! 8)
